Testimonies...
Giving all honor, thanks, and praise to God, my name is Omar Burnett and I was involved in an hit and run accident August 28, 1998. I was walking across the street to my car after I got off of work and while waiting for traffic to pass in the center divider I was hit by a truck from behind. I woke up 5 days later in the hospital no recollection of the event that occurred. Shocked that I woke up, the nurse asked me if I remembered anything and I told her the name of myself and my parents. I asked her what happened to me and she let me know that I was hit by a truck. Immediately I began to move my toes and as they wiggled I knew that I was not paralyzed. My head had split open and I had a broken collar bone. I remained in the hospital for 7 more days after I woke up for tests and to regain my equilibrium. When I got out of the hospital I called the Inglewood police dept. to get information about the hit and run. They transferred me to Officer Check the head officer in charge of the case and when I told him my name and why I was calling he had a strange response. He began to laugh saying that I could not be Omar. When I asked him what he meant by that, he replied "You can't be the same guy that got hit by the truck because when I left you were dead!" While I was unconscious they prepared my parents for me to be like an infant that had to be taught how to walk and talk. They told them that I would have amnesia also. My parents knowing that prayer changes things immediately began to pray and get others to pray on my behalf and I am living proof that the prayers of the saints make things happen.
